Confusion

I have to say that as I get closer to graduation I get more and more confused about the future. What do I want? Where do I have to go to find it? There are so many branches in the road ahead, and I don't know which one to follow. If I go left will I have time to turn around and take the right path instead? At 29 I am still young, but I feel old...like every decision I make now effects my my entire life from here on.
The funny thing is I know that a lot of the decisions aren't just mine to make. Paths are blocked by invisible barriers I won't know about until I ram into them. That must be true, because the future can't have as many possibilities as I see out there....that would be far too frightening.
